The extent of the evil of Jam’iyyah Ihyā at-Turāth of Kuwait – by Al-Allāmah Shaikh Muqbil Ibn Hādī al-Wādi’ī (rahimahullāh)

BISMILLAH

Note: Jam’iyyah Ihyā at-Turāth of Kuwait in the UK is known as “BEST”. Using this deceptive title to divide, conquer and deviate the youth of Islam.

Allāmah Muqbil Ibn Hādī al-Wādi’ī (rahimahullāh) said:

“As for the greatest evil that emanated from Abdul-Rahmān Abdul-Khāliq then it was his splitting the ranks of Ahlus-Sunnah and the ranks of the callers to Allah. He deceived them with the Dinar (i.e. money), not with his ideology! He rushed from Kuwait to Indonesia to Egypt to the UAE. And I say: It is a mistake to hand over one’s wealth to Jam’iyyah Ihyā at-Turāth because they use to divide the united word of Ahlus-Sunnah. So he split the ranks of Ahlus-Sunnah from Jeddah to Sudan.

There are with us here in Yemen from the scum whom he beguiled and allured with his Dinar (wealth), not with his ideology. So we give tidings to the Salafi youth of Kuwait that Jam’iyyah Ihyā at-Turāth expended huge amounts of wealth upon these distorted/misguided ones in Yemen yet alongside that, their da`wah is dead, having no effect!

A brother visited me, his name was Muhammad – and was a setter and compiler of “Al-Furqān Magazine” of Kuwait. He said: “We have not been slapped as we were slapped in Yemen.” They ate the wealth from the hizb until it had finished, then they moved on to another hizb and so on. So these people will eat the wealth of Jam`iyyah Ihyā at-Turāth until there is no more to be gotten from them. Then they will move on to another group!

So my advice to Abdur-Rahmān Abdul-Khāliq is to go away and study and to take a book and sit in the circles of Shaikh Ibn `Uthaimeen – the same Shaikh about whom they say: “He knows nothing about the current affairs.” Or go and sit with Shaikh Ibn Bāz about whom they say likewise that he knows nothing of the current affairs! So he should take a book, humble himself before Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and study!

I advise the youth of Kuwait to free themselves from Abdur-Rahmān Abdul-Khāliq and to distance themselves from him:

“And the Day the wrongdoer will bite on his hands [in regret] he will say, “Oh, I wish I had taken with the Messenger a way. Oh, woe to me! I wish I had not taken that one as a friend. He led me away from the remembrance after it had come to me. And ever is Satan, to man, a deserter.” (al-Furqān 27-29)

So is Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq more knowledgeable than Imām Ahmad Ibn Hanbal? Is Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq more pious and fearful of Allah than Ahmad Ibn Hanbal?! If we were blind-followers, we would have blindly followed Ahmad Ibn Hanbal (rahimahullāh) – however we regard blind-following to be forbidden – and the youth of Kuwait will remain blind so long as they continue to be followers of Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq.

Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq the one on whose behalf “Al-Furqān Magazine” is distributed – he said before the Iraqi invasion of Kuwait: “Saddam Hussein is a believer.” After the invasion, he changed him from a believer to an unbeliever! As for us, then we declared Saddam to an unbeliever before the invasion and after. So the one who speaks upon emotions and is not steadfast and firm upon knowledge, then no doubt he will be like this.

A person may say: “Shaikh Ibn Bāz wrote to Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq and Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq recanted.” So I say: This affair that he recanted from is nothing compared to his splitting the united word of Ahlus-Sunnah. This individual split Ahlus-Sunnah apart and I fear that he is an infiltrator who has entered the da`wah. Let not a person think that the matter which Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq recanted from includes all that he has transgressed in – indeed it is not even a quarter of what he is upon. And the reason for this is because he is not well-versed in knowledge.

And our brother Rabee’ Ibn Hādee has refuted in an excellent manner, may Allah reward him with good – he explained what Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq is upon. I say: If a fair-minded person from the youth of Kuwait was to read this refutation, he would disassociate himself from Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq and from Jam’iyyah Ihyā at-Turāth who champion and raise Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq – otherwise who is Abdur-Rahman Abdul-Khaliq?!”
